Linkup East Cape
Long time ago a magazine named Odyssey was started which was published in the Transvaal and the Cape every two months. Then, due to demand, the Linkup appeared in the between months to maintain the need for current up-to-date adverts. Time advanced and Linkup grew to became Linkup Gauteng and Linkup Western Cape also Linkup Natal.

The original logo image was done by Rose de la Hunt on a Cyclostyle master. This one here was altered by myself to replace the Hottentots Holland mountains of the Western Cape, with the Three Hogs of Hogsback mountains of the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
I came to Hogsback and soon ‘picked up’ the Link-Up East Cape from Carol von Witt. Up to 2000 copies were printed and posted 6 times per year. Printing and postage costs went through the roof. In 2006 I passed the publication to Anita Wood who made a lovely production of it. Years later I re-acquired Link-Up East Cape from Lyndsey Taylor (sp?) of Link-Up Western Cape.
Link-Up East Cape as Linkup EastCape ; luec.co.za has had a quiet but useful existence.

I’ve been excited by other WordPress sites so here is another start.
